December general meeting and 2019 board nominations
With the end of the year quickly approaching, that means that nominations will be accepted for the 2019 WYFC board member positions. Board nominations can be made at the December general membership meeting (details below) or by contacting the club president, Jason Tirabassi. All of these positions are volunteer positions for those that are committed to making WYFC a great organization. Voting on the positions will happen at the January meeting.
December general membership meeting will occur on December 18th at 8:00pm, likely at the Mayfield Village Civic Center (location will be finalized next week).
2018 programs/yearbooks will also be available at this meeting for anyone who has not received theirs yet.
The board positions that are available include:
President: Responsible for general day to day activities regarding the entire club (cheer and football)
Vice President: Responsible for helping where needed, running some club activities and special events, and running the football program
Secretary: Responsible for the website, social media, registration, and meetings
Treasurer: Responsible for the finances and purchases of the club
Cheer Director: Responsible for the cheer program
League Representative: Responsible for attending league meetings and being a liaison between the league and club regarding rules and decisions
Commissioner: Responsible for the concessions at practice and games, tracking volunteer hours and helping to plan the special events with the rest of the board throughout the year.
If you have questions on any of the board positions, contact the current board member and they can help to answer them. The WYFC is a volunteer run organization, and to keep it going strong, we need the help of football and cheer parents to step up and fill some of these positions.
